Customs Clearing :- We have a specialist team of clearing agents that will handle all the paperwork relating to your import, complete the paperwork, presenting on your behalf and assist with any problems that may occur. All the filing will be completed and details on progress will be sent via Email or fax, letting you know progress reports as they happen. Any Fees that need to be paid inc Import Duty ( If applicable) and VAT Charges will be processed and a direct payment will be arranged via "CHAPS". This process speeds up the collection, thus avoiding Port Charges / Storage Charges on your vehicle.
Collection Service:- We arrange for the vehicle to be collected and delivered either direct to your residence or direct to our fully equipped workshop facilities where trained technicians will carry out the work required. See SVA PAGE. All vehicles are covered by our insurance and will be stored in Secure Warehousing while awaiting testing. Once the vehicle has passed the SVA and MOT ( If Required) ,Paperwork will be completed ready for Registration .
Testing and Conversions:- On most American Vehicles the rear lighting will need to be altered to suit the U.K Regulations. Some vehicles may require additional Amber Lamps to be adapted to your vehicle. Please call to check compatibility. In addition to these many changes will need to be carried out before the SVA test is due. On most cases we will apply for the SVA Test before your vehicle arrives in the U.K, this speeds up the process and enables the quicker return of your vehicle. If your vehicle passes the SVA and we will be registering the vehicle on your behalf, the DVLA can take up to 5 working days to issue a Registration Number. Once this has been generated we will order and fit the number plates to your vehicle trying to keep the plates as original as possible.
Collection or delivery:- We can arrange for most deliveries back to your home address or place of work. Arrangements can be made to collect you from main Airports / Rail Stations, to reunite you with your vehicle.
